Are my login details secure?

Yes, firstly we insist on all users having a secure password on their account.  To do this we enforce strict password rules when passwords are being created.

All user passwords must consist of

- at least 8 characters
- contain at least one upper case character
- contain at least one lower case character
- at least one number
- at least one special character.  (Examples of Special characters can be !, #, $, % amongst others.)

For users who want a higher level of security, we offer two factor authentication (2FA). This is only available on PAID plans.

2FA (also known as 2 factor authentication or 2 step authenication) is an extra layer of security used to make sure that people trying to gain access to an online account are who they say they are. First, a user will enter their username and a password. Then, instead of immediately gaining access, they will be required to provide another piece of information. Our current 2FA solution operates through email.  Users will receive an email with a Security Key.  This security key will be required to gain access to your account.

Users can enable this in their Settings.

Use of 2FA is strongly recommended by the Let's Renew team.
